1. The $TRUMP coin.
Think of it like a Swiss bank account. People are depositing money. We don’t know who or what amount, but it’s a ton of money.
He’s making an absurd amount of money.
Why it matters: If you’re lobbying the administration, need something from them, want dinner with them – you put money into the Trump coin.
Literally anyone who wants anything from this administration could buy this coin and no one else would know. It’s blatant corruption.
2. Real estate investments
The Trump family is using the presidency to get money for their businesses.
For example, investors in Saudi Arabia gave something like $1 billion to a Trump hotel in Dubai.
3. Bribe plane.
The Qataris gave the president a $400 million plane. It will take about $1 billion and three years to fix this plane.
It’s a boondoggle and it’s expensive for taxpayers.
Trump probably won’t use it as president, but rather when he’s no longer in office. When he’s a private citizen, it becomes a private jet for him.
The way he’s trying to get around it legally is saying he’s going to give it to his presidential library…but it’s still breaking the law.
Clearly he’s taking a gift from a foreign country, one that you cannot accept.
4. Elon musk and billionaire donors.
They gave the president and Republicans in Congress hundreds of millions of dollars for their campaigns. Those donations bought them access to power, our data systems, and to more federal contracts.
No one has made more money on federal contracts than Elon Musk. Now, he stands to make billions and billions more in federal contracts.
It’s clear this White House is for sale. The White House cannot be for sale. This is pure corruption and it has to end. We need bipartisan legislation banning all of this.
